HeatBlocker Outer Shell: Constructed of heavyweight Teflon-laminated fiberglass fabric, the exterior surface of HeatBlocker is resistant and impervious most chemicals, oils, and fuels. Heat-sensitive areas are covered with our EdgeGuard™ technology. All HeatBlocker covers are fabricated with overlapping flaps to eliminate closure hot spots. All HeatBlocker covers are designed with stainless steel or inconel spring closure.

HeatBlocker Inner Shell: Every HeatBlocker cover includes a rigidized inconel liner for added strength and durability. The inconel liner and exterior shell are fabricated separately to eliminate hot spots along the seams. Fasteners are attached to the outer shell only to eliminate any transfer of heat from hot exhaust surfaces.

HeatBlocker Closure: Our spring closure system reduces installation time by 75% over standard wire lacing systems. Spring closure provides constant tension to the covers and eliminates loosening of covers during operation.
